Bellydancer Stephi is based in Bristol. She performs regularly around the South West - Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall & further afield - and also teaches weekly classes in East Bristol. About Stephi
Stephi has a strong background in language and culture studies and whilst studying in Spain, became intrigued by Arabic influences in the country. From here she developed a love for Middle Eastern and Arabic music which naturally led her towards Arabic/Egyptian dance. She trained predominantly in Bristol, where her teachers quickly recognised her natural talent, encouraging her towards dancing and teaching professionally.
She has been described as an elegant, natural and earthy dancer, providing uplifting and powerful performances full of fun and warmth.
Believing that a dancer never stops learning or evolving, Stephi continues training through attending sessions with world renowned teachers and through studying literature to broaden her knowledge in the history & culture of Arabic dance.
She is regularly requested to perform and teach bellydance (Arabic/Egyptian dance) at festivals, community events, weddings, hen parties and other functions. Stephi is described as a warm and energetic teacher whilst providing clear instruction and good technique.
